Patients choose a clinic the way they choose most local services: they search, check Google Maps, read reviews and look for a time that suits them. Healthcare marketing has to do all of that well, while following stricter advertising rules than most industries.
01
Most new patients start with a “near me” search or a search for a specific problem, such as “tooth pain”, “sports injury physio” or “lower back pain”. They then compare a few clinics in Google Maps on distance, reviews, hours and whether they can book online.

Health professionals in British Columbia are regulated by colleges, and BC’s Health Professions and Occupations Act replaced the Health Professions Act on April 1, 2026. Each college sets its own marketing standards:
| Profession | Regulator | Examples of advertising rules |
|---|---|---|
| Dentists and the oral health team | BC College of Oral Health Professionals | Marketing must be accurate and not misleading; qualifications must be represented accurately; patient images need consent |
| Physiotherapists | College of Health and Care Professionals of BC | Truthful, verifiable claims; no guaranteed outcomes; no comparative or superlative claims |
| Chiropractors | College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC | No unsubstantiated treatment claims; no “better than” claims; avoid soliciting testimonials |
We write and review campaigns against your college’s current standards, but you remain responsible for your advertising. When a claim is unclear, we leave it out.
03
Clinics handle sensitive information, so tracking needs care. In BC, the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) governs how private organisations collect and use personal information, including what people enter in website forms.
04
We review your Google Business Profile, website, booking flow and current ads.
We focus first on the services you want to grow and have capacity for.
Service pages, Maps updates and campaigns go live with privacy-conscious tracking.
We report on calls, bookings and cost per new patient enquiry.
